River confluence
The Wieprz joins the Vistula just by the town. The two rivers and their floodplains make broad, flowing shapes across the map.

关于地图
Dęblin Map Poster & Print
Dęblin stands where the Wieprz flows into the Vistula, in the Lublin region of eastern Poland. The confluence shapes the whole map. The wide Vistula runs along the west side with its sandbanks and floodplain, and the Wieprz winds in to join it. The town itself spreads over the higher ground nearby.
In the nineteenth century the Russian Empire built a large fortress here, known then as Ivangorod, to guard the crossing. Its bastions and earthworks still show on a map as angular, star-like outlines. Dęblin is also home to the Polish Air Force Academy, long known as the School of Eaglets, and its airfield forms a large open shape beside the town.
A Dęblin map poster brings these layers together. The river curves, fortress geometry, railway lines and the long runway form a composition you would not find anywhere else. In black and white, the military precision of the fortifications sits against the free movement of the rivers.

Fortress outlines
The earthworks of the nineteenth-century fortress survive as sharp, angular forms. They are among the most distinctive details on the poster.
Airfield
The Air Force Academy's airfield adds a large, clean geometric space, a reminder of the town's long connection with Polish military aviation.

为什么选Dęblin
一张有意义的地图
Dęblin means something specific to generations of Polish airmen and their families. For them, a map poster can mark the years of training here or a graduation. For locals it simply shows home, where the two rivers meet.
Put a course year, a name or a date in the subtitle and edit the coordinates line to match. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files, with no watermark.
