关于地图
Delitzsch Map Poster & Print
Delitzsch lies in northern Saxony, a short distance north of Leipzig. The medieval core still has a clear oval outline. The line of the old fortifications survives as a ring of streets and green space, and some towers still stand. Inside, a small network of lanes leads to the market square and the church. Outside the ring, later housing spreads across flat ground in a looser, more regular pattern.
The baroque castle and its gardens take up a distinct block beside the historic centre, and on the map they show as open space among dense streets. The small Lober river passes nearby. Beyond the town edge, broad fields alternate with lakes created by flooding former lignite pits. Their irregular shorelines stand out against the straight lines of the farmland.
Delitzsch is the birthplace of Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch, one of the founders of the German cooperative movement, whose name the town carries into economic history. A Delitzsch map poster shows how a walled market town has kept its shape while the landscape around it was reworked by agriculture and mining. It is an easy place to read from above.

Baroque castle
The castle and its formal gardens form an open, geometric block next to the dense old town. It makes a pause in the texture.
Former mining lakes
Flooded lignite pits nearby have become lakes. Their irregular shapes break up the open fields and add large areas of water to the wider view.

为什么选Delitzsch
一张有意义的地图
A map of Delitzsch suits people from the town, commuters who know the road into Leipzig, and anyone interested in how old German market towns kept their outlines. The oval core reads well at small sizes and holds its detail at large ones, so it works in anything from a narrow hallway to a living room wall.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with a street name or the year you moved. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files include six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
