关于地图
Duke University Map Poster & Print
Duke University began as Trinity College and took its current name in 1924, supported by the Duke family endowment. It sits in Durham, North Carolina, and is known for its Gothic Revival West Campus, dominated by the tall tower of Duke Chapel. The poster centres on West Campus and its surroundings.
On a map, the university appears as a series of connected quadrangles arranged around the chapel, with curving roads encircling them. To the south lie the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, with winding paths and ponds. Beyond, large stretches of woodland, including the Duke Forest, surround the campus, and a road links it to the separate, Georgian-style East Campus.
A Duke University map poster shows a campus shaped as much by trees as by buildings. The strong central quads contrast with the soft, organic shapes of gardens and forest around them. It is a composition with a clear centre and a gentle, green frame, well suited to a quiet wall.
