关于地图
Ekazhevo Map Poster & Print
Ekazhevo is one of the larger villages of Ingushetia, set on the plain between Nazran and the republic's new capital, Magas. From above, it is laid out along long, fairly straight streets lined with household plots, a pattern common to villages across the North Caucasus. Houses sit along the street fronts, and gardens and yards stretch out behind them in narrow strips.
Farmland surrounds the village, and roads link it to nearby settlements and the main routes of the republic. To the south, the ground begins rising toward the foothills of the Caucasus range, which marks the edge of the plain. Small watercourses and irrigation channels cross the area, adding thin lines to the fields.
An Ekazhevo map poster brings out the clear logic of the village plan: parallel streets, repeated plots and a gradual transition from settlement to open land. It is a simple image but a very personal one, especially for those whose families have lived in these streets for generations.

Household plots
Behind the houses, gardens and yards form narrow strips. They give the village a fine, combed texture that is distinctive to this region.
Between two towns
Ekazhevo lies between Nazran and Magas, and the roads connecting it to both cities pass through or near the village, framing the composition.
