Hillside streets
The town climbs a steep slope, so its roads switch back and forth and break into short segments. The result is a dense, angular pattern that looks nothing like a flat-land grid.

关于地图
Ermenek Map Poster & Print
Ermenek is in the Taurus Mountains in the south of Karaman Province, far from the plains that most of central Anatolia is known for. The town is built on a steep hillside, and on a map its streets zigzag and step up the slope in short, broken segments, with the valley dropping away below. There is almost no flat ground, and the layout shows it.
The town has a long history as a regional centre and was an important seat under the Karamanid beylik in the medieval period. Some of its old stone buildings and mosques survive from that time. In the valley of the Göksu nearby stands the Ermenek Dam, a tall concrete arch dam that ranks among the highest in Turkey and holds a long, winding reservoir between the mountains.
An Ermenek map poster is a portrait of terrain as much as of a town. The streets pack tightly along the contours, and the reservoir's branching shape fills the valleys like a drawing of veins. In monochrome the contrast between dense hillside streets and open mountain space gives the composition real depth.

Ermenek Dam reservoir
The reservoir behind the arch dam fills narrow mountain valleys and forms a long, branching body of water. It is the most striking shape on a wider view.
Mountain setting
Around the town the Taurus ridges leave room for only a few roads. Those that exist wind along the valleys, which gives the outer frame a sparse, winding quality.

为什么选Ermenek
一张有意义的地图
Many families from Ermenek have moved to Konya, Istanbul or abroad, and a map of the hillside town is a strong link to where they started. It also suits travellers who drove the mountain roads to reach it and still remember the view.
The title and subtitle can carry a family name, a village or a date, and the coordinates line can be adjusted. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px preview lets you check the layout before buying.
