关于地图
Farafenni Map Poster & Print
Farafenni lies on the north bank of the Gambia River, very close to the border with Senegal. From above, the town takes shape around the Trans-Gambia Highway, which runs north to south through it. Streets and compounds spread out on both sides of the road, and farmland and bush open up beyond the edges of town.
The town has long been a crossroads for traffic between northern Senegal and the Casamance region in the south. Since 2019, the Senegambia Bridge has carried the highway over the Gambia River just south of town, replacing the old ferry crossing. Farafenni is also known for its large weekly market, or lumo, which draws traders from both countries.
A Farafenni map poster shows a town defined by movement. The long straight highway, the river to the south and the bridge that now links both banks give the composition a strong north–south axis. In black and white, it becomes a simple, meaningful image of a meeting point in West Africa.

Farafenni matters to people who grew up here, to families who travel the Trans-Gambia route and to those who remember the ferry days before the bridge. This map holds all of that on one sheet.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the bridge's opening year, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters are also available.
