关于地图
Frolovo Map Poster & Print
Frolovo lies in the north of Volgograd Oblast, in the open steppe country between the Don and the Volga. The town grew up as a railway settlement, and on a map the rail line still acts as its main axis, with yards and sidings running through the middle and residential streets arranged in grids on either side. A small river winds along the edge of the town, adding the only curved lines to the plan.
The landscape around Frolovo is broad and flat, with farm fields, shelter belts of trees and long straight roads stretching toward the horizon. The town serves as a local centre for the surrounding district, with industry tied to the railway and the region's agriculture and oil production. A Frolovo map poster captures that practical, linear character.
Much of the residential area consists of low private houses on regular blocks, with a few districts of apartment buildings closer to the centre. The street grid shifts direction in places to follow the railway and the river, giving the map several overlapping orientations. In black and white, the contrast between these grids and the open steppe is quietly striking.
