关于地图
Gondal Map Poster & Print
Gondal lies in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, south of Rajkot. On a map the town spreads across a flat plain, with an older core of dense, irregular streets and newer neighbourhoods laid out in more regular patterns around it. Farmland covers the surrounding land.
A small river runs by the town, and some of Gondal's palaces stand along it, including the Riverside Palace. The old centre is home to the Naulakha Palace, with its carved stone façade. Main roads link the town to Rajkot and to the Saurashtra highway network.
A Gondal map poster depicts the former capital of a princely state that was well known for its modernising rulers and its planned public works. In black and white, the compact old town, the river and the straight regional roads make a well-balanced composition.

Riverside palaces
Palaces and gardens stand beside the small river that runs by the town. They are a reminder of Gondal's past as a royal seat.
Saurashtra roads
Straight highways cross the flat plain toward Rajkot and other towns. They frame the town with clean lines across open farmland.
