关于地图
Grouse Mountain Map Poster & Print
Grouse Mountain rises directly above North Vancouver, and very few ski areas sit this close to a major city. On a map the mountain's forested slopes run straight into the suburban streets of the North Shore. Beyond them, across Burrard Inlet, lie the tight grid of downtown Vancouver and the green block of Stanley Park. The Capilano River cuts down along the western side of the mountain.
Most visitors ride the Skyride aerial tramway, whose line climbs straight up the slope from the base. Hikers take the Grouse Grind, a steep trail famous for its punishing climb. The runs are lit in the evening, so on winter nights the mountain can be seen from across the city. That relationship between mountain and city is what the map captures.
A Grouse Mountain map poster frames a rare kind of place, where alpine terrain and a dense harbour city share the same view. The contour lines of the summit give way to cul-de-sacs, arterial roads and the bridges over the inlet. The result reads as both a mountain map and a Vancouver map, which suits anyone with ties to the region.

Burrard Inlet below
The inlet's shoreline separates the North Shore from downtown Vancouver. It shows the city's harbour and bridges in a single sweep beneath the slopes.
Capilano River corridor
The Capilano valley runs down the mountain's western flank toward the inlet. It adds a deep, winding line to the forested terrain.

为什么选Grouse Mountain
一张有意义的地图
For Vancouverites this is the mountain on the skyline, visible from office windows and beaches. For visitors it is the first real view of the city. A print keeps both perspectives together, with the peak and the streets on one sheet.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a year or a trail time, and edit the coordinates line. Then pick from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir and Blueprint work especially well with the fine suburban street pattern.
