关于地图
Hashtsāl Map Poster & Print
Hashtsāl is an urban village in West Delhi, near Uttam Nagar, that has been absorbed into the city's steady westward growth. On a map it shows one of the densest patterns in the capital: a thick web of narrow lanes, small plots and closely built houses, organised into colonies that grew one after another rather than according to a single plan.
The area takes its name from the old village, and it is known for Hastsal Minar, a slender brick tower from the Mughal period, often described as a smaller version of the Qutub Minar and associated with the reign of Shah Jahan. The minaret now stands among houses, a reminder of the open countryside that existed here before the city arrived.
A Hashtsāl map poster shows the intricate texture of a neighbourhood built by its residents over decades. The lanes create a close, intricate pattern of small blocks, framed by larger roads and the elevated metro line nearby. For those who live here or grew up here, it is a map of home in one of the most rapidly changing parts of Delhi.

Hastsal Minar
The Mughal-era tower stands within the neighbourhood, a small historic landmark surrounded by later housing and a link to the area's past as a rural village.
Framing roads
Larger roads and the elevated metro line nearby form straight, firm lines around the dense colonies, giving the whole composition its structure.

为什么选Hashtsāl
一张有意义的地图
Hashtsāl is home to many families who have built their lives here over recent decades, and a map of its lanes is a very personal record. It makes a meaningful gift for a new home, for parents, or for relatives who have moved away from Delhi.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to show a colony name, a family name or an important date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as $9 HD digital files or a printed matte poster with an optional frame.
