Kronborg bastions
The castle's star-shaped fortifications project into the sound, a sharp geometric shape surrounded by water and moats that stands out instantly on the poster.

关于地图
Helsingør Map Poster & Print
Helsingør sits at the northeastern tip of Zealand, where the Øresund narrows to about four kilometres and Sweden is clearly visible across the water. On a map the town wraps around its harbour. Kronborg Castle stands inside a star-shaped fortress on the headland, the medieval streets of the old centre lie just behind it, and newer districts spread north and inland.
For centuries, ships passing through the sound paid the Sound Dues here, which made the town wealthy and helps explain the scale of its castle. Kronborg, known around the world as Elsinore in Shakespeare's Hamlet, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beside it, the Maritime Museum of Denmark was built underground around an old dry dock.
The Helsingør map poster brings fortress, harbour and old town together in a single frame. The angular bastions of Kronborg, the ferry berths serving Helsingborg and the tight medieval blocks inland make one of the most distinctive small-town maps in Scandinavia, and it is especially clear in the Blueprint style. The detail repays close looking at the larger print sizes.

The narrow sound
The Øresund narrows to a few kilometres here, and the shoreline facing Sweden forms a clean edge along the eastern side of the map.
Medieval centre
Behind the harbour, the narrow streets and small blocks of the old town keep a dense, irregular layout that contrasts with the geometry of the nearby fortress.

为什么选Helsingør
一张有意义的地图
Helsingør appeals to readers of Shakespeare, to Danes with family roots in North Zealand and to travellers who have crossed on the ferry. A map of castle, harbour and sound makes an elegant piece for a study or a hallway.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with Elsinore or a line from Hamlet, and adjust the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a printed poster or as $9 HD files in PNG and PDF.
