关于地图
Higashikurume Map Poster & Print
Higashikurume is a small city in the western part of Tokyo Metropolis, on the flat Musashino plateau near the border with Saitama. It is mostly residential, and the map shows a dense, fine texture of narrow lanes and small blocks, with few large open spaces. Main roads and railway lines cross this fabric and give it structure.
Seibu railway lines connect the city directly to Ikebukuro and central Tokyo, and many residents commute into the city each day. Small rivers and green strips run through the neighbourhoods, and parks, schools and shrine grounds appear as lighter patches among the houses. The station areas form small, busier centres.
A Higashikurume map poster reveals a pattern that is typical of Tokyo's suburbs but rarely seen so clearly. The dense residential lanes form an almost textile-like surface, broken by rail lines, the curves of streams and the occasional park. It rewards close viewing and works well at larger print sizes.

为什么选Higashikurume
一张有意义的地图
Higashikurume is where many people grew up, raised families or lived during their first years in Tokyo. The map shows the everyday neighbourhood rather than the famous centre, which makes it personal and quietly beautiful.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps in Japanese or with a moving-in date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The detailed lanes look sharp at 50×70 cm or 24×36″.
