Old quarters
The oldest parts of the town have the densest, most irregular streets. On the poster they form the centre of gravity of the whole composition.

关于地图
Igbo-Ora Map Poster & Print
Igbo-Ora lies in the southwest of Oyo State, in the Ibarapa area, among farmland and patches of woodland. From above, the town is a network of roads and lanes spreading outward from the older quarters, with houses gathered in compounds and gradually thinning into the countryside around.
Igbo-Ora is often called the twins capital of the world. The rate of twin births in the town is among the highest recorded anywhere, and the community celebrates it with an annual twins festival. Researchers and visitors have come to the town for decades because of it.
An Igbo-Ora map poster shows a town that is traditional in form, with streets that grew around family compounds rather than to a plan. The pattern is irregular and organic, which gives the printed map a warm, hand-drawn quality.

Main roads
Regional roads connect Igbo-Ora to other Ibarapa towns and toward Ibadan. They cross the map as longer, clearer lines.
Farmland edges
Around the town, the street pattern gives way to fields and woodland, leaving open space at the edges of the print.
