Beach park lagoons
The artificial lagoons and islands of Køge Bugt Strandpark create a long, detailed coastline. Rendered in black and white, it looks almost sculpted.

关于地图
Ishøj Map Poster & Print
Ishøj lies on the shore of Køge Bay, south-west of central Copenhagen. Its map has two distinct parts. Inland are the planned housing areas, roads and older village centre. Along the water is the long strip of Køge Bugt Strandpark, a beach park created in the late twentieth century with artificial lagoons, islands and dunes.
On the coast stands Arken, the Museum of Modern Art, a building designed to evoke a ship facing the sea and one of the region's best-known cultural destinations. Nearby, Ishøj Harbour adds small basins and piers to the shoreline, giving the coastal edge of the map a busy, detailed outline.
An Ishøj map poster makes the most of this coastline. Lagoons and beach fringes form a graphic band along the bay, and the suburban street network sits in orderly blocks behind them. It is a clear image of how Copenhagen's suburbs meet the Øresund coast.

Arken on the shore
The museum of modern art sits right at the water's edge in the beach park, one of the most recognisable places along this coast.
Planned suburbs
Inland, housing areas from the post-war decades form tidy street patterns with green spaces between them. They are separated from the coast by main roads and the rail line.

为什么选Ishøj
一张有意义的地图
Ishøj suits people who live on the Køge Bay coast, commute into Copenhagen or visit Arken regularly. The lagoon shoreline makes the map unusually graphic, and it works well in a Scandinavian interior.
