Itapemirim Map Poster & Print
Itapemirim takes its name from the river that crosses its territory on the way to the Atlantic in southern Espírito Santo. On the map, the river is the obvious guide. Its bends lead the eye from farmland inland toward the coast, and the town's streets gather along its route instead of spreading out evenly.
The coastal part of the municipality looks very different. There, beaches and fishing communities line a mostly straight shore, and the road network runs parallel to the sea. Seen together, the two parts give an Itapemirim map poster two layers: winding water inland and a straight, open edge at the ocean.
In print, the contrast between a meandering river and a firm coastline makes for a balanced sheet. Black ink on white paper removes the green of the fields and the colour of the water. Coastal fishing settlements
Small communities along the shore appear as compact clusters of streets. Their tight grids stand out against the open ground and farmland that separate them.
