关于地图
Jacundá Map Poster & Print
Jacundá is in the southeast of Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon, in a region shaped by road building, land settlement and the large Tucuruí reservoir nearby. On a map the town appears as a fairly regular grid of streets, the kind of layout typical of Amazon towns that grew quickly in the late twentieth century.
The main highway is the organising line. Commercial streets run near it, and residential blocks extend away in rectangles that grow sparser toward the edges. Beyond the built-up area, long straight rural roads divide the surrounding land, and streams and patches of remaining forest break up the pattern.
A Jacundá map poster shows a town in its setting: a compact grid, a highway linking it to the wider region and the open landscape beyond. For people who have lived and worked here, the clear, simple structure of the map is easy to recognise, and it tells a story of how towns in this part of Brazil were built.

Rural road lines
Outside the town, long straight roads divide farmland and forest, extending the grid's logic into the surrounding landscape.

为什么选Jacundá
一张有意义的地图
A map of Jacundá is for people with a real connection to it: a family who moved here, someone who grew up on these streets, or someone far away who wants to keep home in view. The simple grid looks strong in black and white.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, for example a family name or a date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
