关于地图
Jangipur Map Poster & Print
Jangipur is a town in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, lying on the Bhagirathi, the distributary of the Ganges that flows south toward Kolkata. On a map, the river is the defining element, a broad channel cutting through the landscape, with the town spread along its banks.
The older parts of Jangipur are made of dense, irregular lanes near the water, while newer growth follows the main roads outward. Around the town the land is flat and intensively farmed, patterned with fields, ponds and small villages, and the river's curves and old channels leave traces across the surrounding plain.
A barrage across the Bhagirathi near Jangipur is part of the Farakka system that regulates water flowing into the river from the Ganges. The town is also known in national politics as the constituency once represented by former President Pranab Mukherjee. A Jangipur map poster shows how closely the town is tied to its river.

为什么选Jangipur
一张有意义的地图
Jangipur is a town people carry with them, particularly those who have moved to Kolkata or further afield. A map of the river and the lanes along it is a quiet reminder of where they come from.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the river especially striking, while Paper gives the map a soft, traditional look.
