Long straight streets
The main residential streets run long and parallel. Evenly spaced blocks give the town a steady rhythm that shows up well on a large print.

关于地图
Kalininsk Map Poster & Print
Kalininsk is a small town in the western part of Saratov Oblast, where open farmland stretches in every direction. It was named after the Soviet statesman Mikhail Kalinin. From above, the town is a set of long, straight streets crossing at right angles. Plots with houses and gardens fill the blocks between them, a layout seen in many towns of the Volga steppe.
The river valley brings a softer line to that grid. The water bends in loops, and the streets closest to it stop or turn along the bank. Past the town, field boundaries and country roads carry the same straight lines on across the plain. The result is a map made mostly of quiet repetition, broken by the natural curve of the valley.
A Kalininsk map poster keeps this pattern simple. Long parallel streets, the looping river and the thinning edges of town are drawn in black on white. It is a good choice for people who grew up here or left for Saratov or further, and want a clear picture of the streets they know.

River bends
A winding river passes the town in loose curves. It is the one irregular shape in the drawing and a natural focal point.
Steppe surroundings
Beyond the houses, straight country roads and field edges head out across flat land. They show how open the landscape around Kalininsk is.

为什么选Kalininsk
一张有意义的地图
A town like Kalininsk rarely shows up in shops or souvenir racks, so a map poster may be the only printed image of it you can hang. It keeps a small hometown on the wall.
Change the title, add a subtitle with a date or a family name, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room.
