关于地图
Kamiiso Map Poster & Print
Kamiiso is on the southern tip of Hokkaido, on the western shore of Hakodate Bay. It was a town in its own right until 2006, when it merged with neighbouring Ōno to form the city of Hokuto. On a map it still reads as a distinct place: a narrow settlement stretched along the coast, with hills rising behind it.
The layout is linear. A coastal road and a railway line run parallel to the shore, and most streets sit in the band between the water and the slopes. Short roads climb inland toward the hills. Across the bay, Hakodate and its landmark mountain stand on their peninsula, completing the view from Kamiiso's shoreline.
A Kamiiso map poster captures that ribbon shape: the smooth curve of the bay on one side, the town's parallel streets in the middle and the start of the hills on the other. It is a calm, horizontal composition, suited to anyone with ties to the Hokuto area or to Hakodate's western edge.

Parallel road and rail
The coastal road and the railway run side by side along the shore, forming the spine that the rest of the town follows.
Hills behind the town
Slopes rise just inland, limiting how far the streets can spread and giving Kamiiso its narrow, stretched shape along the water.

为什么选Kamiiso
一张有意义的地图
The map means most to people who grew up in Kamiiso before the merger, or who lived in Hokuto and Hakodate. It keeps the old town name and its coastal outline on the wall.
Customise the title with 上磯 or Kamiiso, add a year and adjust the coordinates line. Horizontal sizes suit the ribbon shape. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a download or a printed poster.
