Negombo road spine
The main road north from Colombo runs through the town. It forms the strongest line on the poster, with most local streets branching from it.

关于地图
Kandana Map Poster & Print
Kandana lies in the Gampaha district of Sri Lanka's Western Province, north of Colombo on the road toward Negombo and the international airport. The town grew along this corridor, and the map shows it clearly: a main road running north–south, with lanes and residential streets branching off on both sides.
The land here is low and green, typical of the coastal plain around Colombo, with paddy fields, streams and wet ground scattered among the houses. Built-up areas and patches of open land alternate, so the street network looks irregular and organic rather than planned.
A Kandana map poster captures the texture of Colombo's northern suburbs: a busy spine road, winding side lanes and the low wetland pockets between them. For families from the area, it is a detailed, familiar picture of home, rendered in clean black and white.

Winding side lanes
Residential lanes curve away from the main road in irregular patterns. They follow old property lines and the shape of the low ground.
Low wetland pockets
Open areas of paddy and marshy ground appear between built-up clusters. They leave pale gaps in the drawing that give the composition some air.
