Long village streets
Streets run for long distances across the settlement, often almost parallel. They give the map a strong directional pattern from edge to edge.

关于地图
Kantyshevo Map Poster & Print
Kantyshevo is a large rural settlement in Ingushetia, on the gently sloping plain north of Nazran. From above, it is defined by long, mostly straight streets lined with walled household plots. Each plot has a house and a garden. Together they form a dense but regular texture that spreads across a wide area.
The main Caucasus ridge rises to the south, while the land around Kantyshevo is open farmland crossed by roads and irrigation channels. The settlement is close enough to Nazran that the two are linked by main roads, but it keeps its own separate, village-like layout, with streets that follow the lie of the land rather than a single grid.
A Kantyshevo map poster shows a village on the scale of a town. It is a graphic record of how Ingush settlements are organised around family plots and long shared streets. In black and white, the repeated rhythm of plots and lanes becomes the main pattern of the design.

Household plots
Walled plots with houses and gardens fill the space between the streets. They create a fine, even mosaic that is typical of the region.
Link to Nazran
Main roads connect Kantyshevo to Nazran to the south. These are the widest lines on the map, and they place the village in its regional context.
