Ridge roads
Main roads follow the ridgelines that run across the area, giving the map long, gently curving lines with side lanes descending toward the valleys.

关于地图
Karuri Map Poster & Print
Karuri lies in Kiambu County, just north of Nairobi, in the highland country where the city's outskirts meet farmland. The landscape is made up of ridges and small river valleys running roughly west to east, and roads and lanes tend to follow the ridgelines, while the valleys between them are left for streams, farming and greenery.
The town has grown quickly as part of the wider Nairobi metropolitan area, with many residents commuting into the city while living in a setting that still has farms and gardens. The surrounding area has long been known for coffee and tea growing, and the older rural pattern of plots remains visible alongside newer residential development.
A Karuri map poster reveals that mix of suburb and highland farm. Roads run along the ridges in long lines, smaller lanes branch off to homesteads and estates, and stream valleys create open spaces between them. In black and white, the pattern becomes a subtle study of terrain expressed through roads.

Stream valleys
Small rivers and streams run between the ridges, leaving narrow open strips on the map where buildings give way to slopes and greenery.
Farm plots
Around the newer residential estates, the older rural pattern of small farms and plots is still visible, adding a finer, irregular texture to the design.
