关于地图
Kasozi Map Poster & Print
Kasozi lies in Uganda's Western Region, at a latitude so close to zero that the equator passes almost through the town. The western part of the country is a landscape of hills, valleys and cultivated slopes. The map of Kasozi reflects that setting: roads curve with the ground, and homes spread out along them instead of gathering into a tight block.
Like many towns in the region, Kasozi has an informal plan, not a grid. A denser trading area forms where the main routes meet, and from there lanes and footpaths spread outward into gardens and farm plots. On paper this makes a soft, branching pattern, closer to a river system than a city plan, framed by the open land around it.
A Kasozi map poster is above all a personal piece. It is made for people born in the town, those who work or study elsewhere, and friends who have visited. The coordinates line starts with a latitude just above zero, a quiet record of how close to the equator this place sits.

Branching lanes
From the central area, lanes and paths spread outward in an irregular, tree-like pattern, following the terrain and linking homesteads to the main road.
Farmland frame
Around the town, cultivated land and scattered homes fill the margins. They give the print a light texture that fades gently toward the edges.
