关于地图
Kedia Map Poster & Print
Kedia lies in Jharkhand, in eastern India, on the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The land is not the flat plain of the Ganges. It is an upland of low hills, streams and scattered woodland. On a map, the settlement is a small network of lanes and roads, and fields and open ground spread around it in an irregular pattern.
This part of Jharkhand is known for its mineral wealth and industry as well as for farming, and small towns in the area often sit between agricultural land and the industrial centres of the plateau. Kedia is one of many such places, known mostly to the people who live there and in the surrounding villages.
A Kedia map poster presents this landscape in simple black lines. The settlement's streets form a loose cluster, the roads leading out of it follow the rise and fall of the land, and the streams add thin curving lines. It is an understated map, and for those connected to the place it is a quietly personal one.

Settlement lanes
A small network of lanes forms the centre of the map, loosely arranged rather than gridded, as is common in the towns and villages of the plateau.
Streams and fields
Small streams and cultivated fields surround the settlement. They give the outer parts of the poster a light, irregular texture with lots of open space.
