关于地图
Kelar Map Poster & Print
Kelar, also written Kalar, lies in the Garmiyan area of the Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It sits in a broad, open landscape where the plains meet the first foothills of the Zagros, and its map shows a town that has grown along the banks of the Sirwan River.
The river, known further downstream as the Diyala, runs past the town and gives the map its main natural line. Around it, the streets form a mostly regular pattern of blocks and avenues, with newer districts laid out in planned grids on the flat ground at the edges.
Kelar serves as a regional centre for the surrounding district, with markets, schools and roads leading to the nearby towns of Garmiyan. A Kelar map poster keeps the essential elements visible: the river, the grid and the wide space around them.

Planned districts
Newer neighbourhoods on the edges follow regular grid layouts, producing crisp rectangular blocks that contrast with the older, more irregular core of the town.
Open plains
Wide areas of lightly developed land around the town leave generous empty space on the poster, emphasising the river and the main roads that cross it.

为什么选Kelar
一张有意义的地图
Kelar is a hometown for many families across Kurdistan and in the diaspora. A map of it keeps the familiar shape of streets and the river close, and it makes a meaningful gift for relatives who have moved elsewhere.
