Khadakwasla reservoir
The lake stretches west into the hills with a long, branching outline. It is the centrepiece of the poster and gives the composition a strong horizontal flow.

关于地图
Kharakvasla Map Poster & Print
Kharakvasla, usually spelled Khadakwasla, lies on the southwestern edge of Pune in Maharashtra. Its map is dominated by water. The Khadakwasla Dam on the Mutha River holds back a long reservoir that winds between hills, and much of the settlement sits along its shores. The dam has been one of Pune's main sources of water since the late nineteenth century.
The National Defence Academy, where officer cadets of India's three armed services train together, occupies a large campus beside the reservoir, and its open grounds are clearly visible on the map. To the south, the hill fort of Sinhagad rises above the valley and draws crowds at weekends. Residential areas have grown quickly as Pune's suburbs reach toward the lake.
A Kharakvasla map poster frames the curving shoreline, the dam wall and the planned campus against the folded terrain of the Western Ghats. It carries real meaning for NDA alumni and their families, and for Pune residents who know the drive out to the dam at sunset.

National Defence Academy
The academy's campus lies beside the water, with parade grounds, playing fields and planned roads. It appears as a large, ordered area set apart from the town.
Hills toward Sinhagad
South of the reservoir the ground rises toward the old hill fort. Winding ghat roads and steep slopes give that side of the map a dense, organic texture.

为什么选Kharakvasla
一张有意义的地图
For cadets who trained at the NDA, Khadakwasla is where a career began, and a map of the lake and campus carries that meaning. Pune families who spend weekends by the water or on the Sinhagad road may feel the same way.
Add a course number or passing-out year as the subtitle, set your own title and keep the coordinates. Choose one of five styles, including Blueprint and Noir. Download print-ready files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
