Kidatu Map Poster & Print
Kidatu lies in Morogoro Region at the northern end of the Kilombero Valley, where flat, fertile lowland meets the edge of the Udzungwa Mountains. The map shows a small town organised around its roads and a railway, with settlements spreading out toward cultivated land. The Great Ruaha River passes nearby, and its course gives the surroundings a strong natural line.
Two large operations define the area. The Kidatu hydroelectric station on the Great Ruaha is one of Tanzania's important sources of power, and the Kilombero sugar estates cover much of the valley floor around the town. A Kidatu map poster captures the large, regular shapes of the cane fields beside the looser grain of the town and river.
The TAZARA railway between Dar es Salaam and Zambia passes through Kidatu, and on paper it draws a long, smooth curve across the landscape. In black and white, the rail line, river and field boundaries combine into a map that feels industrial and rural at once, an unusual mix for a town of this size.

The Great Ruaha passes close to town and powers the Kidatu hydroelectric station. On the map its winding course adds a strong natural line through the composition.
TAZARA line
The railway linking Dar es Salaam with Zambia runs through Kidatu. On the poster it is a long, gentle curve that ties the town to a much larger network.
