关于地图
Kilifi Map Poster & Print
Kilifi lies on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya, between Mombasa and Malindi, where Kilifi Creek cuts deep inland from the sea. The creek is the defining feature on the map: a broad, curving body of water that separates the town on the northern shore from Mnarani on the south, with a road bridge carrying the coastal highway across it.
The town centre sits a short distance back from the water, with a market area and a looser pattern of residential streets beyond. Along the creek, houses and gardens follow the shoreline, and near the southern end of the bridge lie the Mnarani ruins, the remains of a Swahili settlement with mosques and tombs. Pwani University is also based in Kilifi.
A Kilifi map poster brings together the creek, the ocean shore and the scattered streets of the town in one calm frame. In black and white, the water becomes a strong, open shape that balances the finer lines of the roads. It is a natural choice for people who grew up on the coast, and for visitors who spent time by the creek.

Coastal bridge
The bridge carrying the Mombasa to Malindi road across the creek is a single strong line over the water, linking Kilifi with Mnarani on the southern side.
Ocean shoreline
To the east, the coast of the Indian Ocean gives the composition a firm edge, with the mouth of the creek opening out toward the sea.

为什么选Kilifi
一张有意义的地图
Kilifi means slow days by the water, family on the coast, or a season spent working or studying here. A map of the town and its creek is a gentle, personal way to keep that setting present in your home.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps marking a stay or a wedding by the creek, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download HD files for $9 or order a matte printed poster.
