Rail and road spine
The railway and the old trunk road run side by side through the town, forming a north–south axis that the rest of the street plan hangs from.

关于地图
Kulai Map Poster & Print
Kulai has a linear shape. The old town grew along the railway and the trunk road running north from Johor Bahru, and from the air that corridor still forms its spine. Newer housing estates branch off in neat loops and cul-de-sacs, and beyond them the map turns to the regular blocks of oil palm and rubber estates.
The town lies within commuting distance of Johor Bahru and close to Senai, and in recent decades it has grown as part of the wider metropolitan region at Malaysia's southern tip. The North–South Expressway passes nearby, placing Kulai on the main route up the peninsula.
A Kulai map poster shows that mix of old and new: the shophouse streets near the railway, the curved roads of the planned estates and the surrounding farmland, which fills the edges of the sheet with a softer texture.

Planned housing estates
The residential areas have looping roads and repeating terraces, a pattern that turns into a fine, almost textile-like texture in monochrome.
Plantation edges
Around the built-up area, the land breaks into large estate plots and access tracks, so the town is framed by a quieter geometric pattern.

为什么选Kulai
一张有意义的地图
Kulai is home for many families who have spent generations near the railway town, and more recently for people who moved into the new estates. A map records the street where you live, together with the wider region it belongs to.
You can add a family name, a moving-in date or your own coordinates line in the title area. Choose from five styles (Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand) and download the files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
