关于地图
Kurchaloy Map Poster & Print
Kurchaloy is a town and district centre in Chechnya, lying east of Grozny where the plain begins to rise towards the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. Like many settlements in the region, it spreads outward in long streets lined with houses set in their own yards. On the map that produces a pattern of extended parallel lines crossed by shorter connecting lanes.
Small rivers run through this part of Chechnya from the mountains to the south, and the town's layout responds to them, with streets bending near the watercourses. The surrounding land is farmland, open and evenly divided. Further south, higher ground brings forest and more broken terrain into view at the edge of the map.
A Kurchaloy map poster gives a clear, unembellished picture of a lowland Caucasus town. Its plan is broad and airy rather than dense, with long residential streets and a centre around the main administrative and commercial buildings. The mountains are never far away, and the gentle rise of the land from north to south gives the town its sense of direction.

Watercourses
Small rivers running down from the south pass through or near the town, soft curving lines that interrupt the regular street pattern.
Foothill edge
To the south, farmland gives way to rising, partly wooded ground, the first sign of the Caucasus foothills along the edge of the sheet.

为什么选Kurchaloy
一张有意义的地图
Kurchaloy is home for many families who keep strong ties to their streets even after moving to Grozny, Moscow or abroad. A map of the town is a respectful, lasting way to hold on to that sense of place.
You can set a title, add a family name or a date as a subtitle and choose whether to include coordinates. Pick from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as digital files or a printed poster on matte paper.
