Medieval core
The historic centre is a dense tangle of short, curving streets and small squares, a pattern laid down when silver made the town one of the wealthiest in Bohemia.

关于地图
Kutná Hora Map Poster & Print
Kutná Hora in Central Bohemia grew rich from silver mining in the Middle Ages, when its mint struck the Prague groschen and the town rivalled Prague in importance. Its historic centre, together with the Church of St Barbara and the Cathedral of the Assumption in Sedlec, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995. Sedlec is also known for its bone-decorated ossuary.
From above, the old town is a dense knot of irregular medieval streets, bounded in part by the valley of the Vrchlice stream. St Barbara's Church stands at the edge of the historic core overlooking the valley, and the Italian Court, the former royal mint, sits within it. To the northeast, the separate district of Sedlec forms its own cluster around its monastery church.
A Kutná Hora map poster suits travellers who spent a day here from Prague, admirers of Gothic architecture and people with family ties to the region. The contrast between the tightly woven old town and the more open districts beyond makes for a rich composition, particularly in the Classic and Noir styles.
