关于地图
Lagoa Nova Map Poster & Print
Lagoa Nova sits in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, on the elevated ground of the Serra de Santana. From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets on the plateau, with roads stretching outward across the upland and dropping toward the lower semi-arid land of the sertão. The map is spare, a small urban shape surrounded by wide open space.
The name means new lagoon, a reminder of how much water matters in this region, where small reservoirs and seasonal ponds appear on the map as scattered shapes in the countryside. The higher ground gives the area a milder climate than the surrounding lowlands, and farming on the plateau shapes the land around the town.
A Lagoa Nova map poster shows a place defined by its setting more than its size. The short blocks of the centre, the roads running off across the serra and the small bodies of water dotted around it make a composition with plenty of breathing room. It is a quiet, open map of the northeastern interior.

Small reservoirs
Scattered ponds and reservoirs appear as irregular shapes in the surrounding countryside, a typical feature of the semi-arid northeast that fits the town's name.
Compact town centre
A small network of streets forms the urban core, simple enough to take in at a glance and leaving much of the sheet to the open land around it.

为什么选Lagoa Nova
一张有意义的地图
Lagoa Nova is the kind of place people carry with them after moving to Natal, São Paulo or further away. A map of the town on the wall keeps that connection to the serra and the interior visible every day.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, a date or a short phrase, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital files come in six sizes, or order a matte print shipped from a nearby partner.
