关于地图
Lakhdaria Map Poster & Print
Lakhdaria lies in Bouira Province in northern Algeria, on the Isser River where it cuts through the hills on the western side of Kabylie. In colonial times the town was known as Palestro, and the narrow Gorges de Palestro nearby remain its best-known landscape feature.
Because the valley is tight, the main routes all follow the same line. The river, the railway and the East-West Highway run close together through the gorges, and the town spreads along the valley floor and up onto the slopes around it, giving the map a strong, directional shape.
A Lakhdaria map poster brings out this relationship between terrain and town. It suits people from Bouira Province, travellers who have passed through the gorges on the way between Algiers and the east, and anyone who appreciates places shaped by mountains.

Shared corridor
Road, rail and river run in parallel through the valley, a set of closely bundled lines that give the map a clear sense of movement.
Hillside streets
Beyond the valley floor, streets climb onto the surrounding slopes, bending with the terrain rather than following a regular grid.

一张有意义的地图
People hang this map to remember a hometown or a journey through the Kabylie hills. The bundled lines of river, road and railway form a striking image that still reads clearly at a distance.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised with a name, a date or the old and new names of the town. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
