Old town lanes
The centre is a tangle of narrow, irregular lanes that grew around temples and markets, the most intricate part of the poster and its visual focus.

关于地图
Lakshmeshwar Map Poster & Print
Lakshmeshwar lies in the Gadag district of northern Karnataka, on the flat, dark-soiled plain of the Deccan. It is one of the older towns in the region, with a history reaching back to the Chalukya period. Its temple complex dedicated to Someshwara and its Jain basadis are important monuments, and the town is known for its large number of historic inscriptions.
The map shows an old town with a compact core of narrow, irregular lanes, grown over centuries around its temples and markets. Around this centre, newer streets extend in straighter lines, and roads lead out across the plain toward Gadag, Hubli and the villages around. The surrounding farmland is wide, open and flat.
A Lakshmeshwar map poster turns the historic town into a clear graphic, with the dense, older centre surrounded by open land. It suits anyone interested in Karnataka's temple architecture, and especially families from the town who want to keep its outline close. The map gives an old place a quiet, contemporary presence.

Temple precincts
Historic temple complexes occupy larger open spaces within the dense fabric, visible as breaks among the tightly packed streets of the centre.
Deccan plain
Around the town, the flat farmland of the black-soil plain spreads out with few lines, giving the compact settlement plenty of space on the sheet.
