关于地图
Lancaster Map Poster & Print
Lancaster is one of the oldest inland cities in the United States. It was laid out in the 1730s on a regular grid, and that plan still holds together on the map. Two main streets cross at Penn Square, marked by the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, and the rest of the city divides into even rectangular blocks around them.
The Conestoga River curves along the eastern and southern sides of the city in wide meanders. Beyond the city, the pattern changes to rolling farmland, the Pennsylvania Dutch country known for its Amish and Mennonite communities. Franklin & Marshall College occupies a green campus on the western side of the grid.
Lancaster served as the capital of the United States for a single day in 1777, when Congress met here while fleeing Philadelphia. Its Central Market is often described as the oldest continuously operating farmers' market in the country. A Lancaster map poster shows that heritage in a clear grid.

College campus
Franklin & Marshall's campus makes an open green block within the western streets, with quads and paths set against the dense row-house grid.

为什么选Lancaster
一张有意义的地图
Lancaster means different things to different people: a college town, a market-day routine, the starting point for trips into Amish country. The grid gives the poster a classic, orderly look that suits almost any room.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a graduation year or wedding date. Then choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
