Lavāsān Map Poster & Print
Lavāsān lies in the Alborz mountains northeast of Tehran, a short drive from the capital but noticeably higher and greener. On a map the town looks less like a compact settlement and more like a scattered network. Roads wind along valleys and slopes, with gardens and villas spread between them.
Just below the town lies the Latyan Dam reservoir, which supplies water to Tehran and forms a large, irregular body of water in the valley. Lavāsān has long been a summer retreat for Tehran residents looking for cooler air, and many of its properties are second homes surrounded by orchards.
A Lavāsān map poster captures a landscape shaped by mountains and water. The reservoir fills part of the sheet with its jagged outline, curving roads follow the contours, and built-up areas cluster in the valleys. The result is an unusual, elegant drawing quite different from Tehran's dense grid.
