关于地图
Lere Map Poster & Print
Lere is a town and local government area in the south of Kaduna State, in Nigeria's north-central belt. The surrounding country is open savanna and farmland. On a map, the town looks like a cluster of streets and compounds where roads meet, with tracks spreading out toward nearby villages and fields.
This area lies toward the higher ground that rises toward the Jos Plateau to the east. Settlements are loosely spaced, connected by main roads, and separated by broad stretches of cultivated land. The street pattern in town is organic, not gridded, and follows the ground and the growth of the settlement.
A Lere map poster is a modest, personal map. Most of the print is taken up by a few main roads and the tighter network of lanes where they meet. It suits people from Lere and its surroundings who want a simple, accurate record of home on the wall.

Organic street pattern
Instead of a planned grid, the lanes follow the land and older paths. The result is an irregular, hand-drawn look in black and white.
Savanna surroundings
Open land surrounds the town, crossed by roads and tracks. It frames the settlement with generous empty space on the poster.
