关于地图
Linëvo Map Poster & Print
Linëvo is an urban-type settlement in the Iskitim district of Novosibirsk Oblast in western Siberia, south-east of Novosibirsk. It was built in the Soviet period as a workers' town for the Novosibirsk electrode plant. Its map still shows that origin: a compact, planned layout of housing blocks, separated by a strip of green from the factory site nearby.
The settlement is laid out in microdistricts of multi-storey housing arranged around courtyards, schools and shops, with a main street tying them together. Around it the landscape is typical of the forest-steppe south of Novosibirsk: pine woods, birch groves, small rivers and open fields. They give the map a soft, irregular border around the precise geometry of the town.
A Linëvo map poster captures a place built to a plan, sitting within an older, more natural landscape. The contrast between the neat housing blocks, the large industrial forms and the surrounding woods makes a clear, balanced image. It appeals both to former residents and to anyone who likes Soviet-era town planning.

Industrial zone
The electrode plant that the town was built for occupies a large site nearby. Its long buildings and rail sidings make bold, rectangular shapes.
Forest edge
Pine and birch woods surround the settlement. They give the map a soft, natural border that sets off the orderly street layout.
