River valley core
The oldest part of town sits along the small river and its ponds. The water gives the map a soft, curving centre line.

关于地图
Logoysk Map Poster & Print
Logoysk, also spelled Lahoysk, lies in the Minsk Region, in some of the most rolling country in central Belarus. The town is built around a small river valley. From above, its streets curve with the ground instead of forming a grid, and ponds, low slopes and stretches of forest surround the built-up area on several sides.
The town is old and was for a long time connected to the Tyszkiewicz noble family. Today many people know the name from the ski slopes nearby, which are unusual in a mostly flat country. That hilly terrain shows up on the map: roads bend, the contours feel close together, and the town fills its valley instead of spreading out evenly.
A Logoysk map poster works because of this irregular layout. It has no dominant grid. Instead there is a loose cluster of streets following the water and the high ground, with the main road to Minsk running off toward the south-west.

Winding streets
Because the ground rises and falls, streets curve and branch unevenly. The result is an organic pattern that is rare among Belarusian towns.
Forest margins
Woodland presses against the edges of town. On a poster this leaves broad quiet areas framing the built-up cluster.

为什么选Logoysk
一张有意义的地图
Logoysk tends to mean winter weekends, a family dacha nearby or a hometown just outside the capital. A map poster keeps that particular stretch of hills and water in a simple, lasting form.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the valley's curving streets especially well.
