The Vistula floodplain
On the eastern side the river spreads out in soft curves, islands and sandbanks. It gives the poster a loose, organic edge that contrasts with the ordered lines of the town's streets.

关于地图
Łomianki Map Poster & Print
Łomianki lies just beyond Warsaw's northwestern edge, and on a map it reads as a narrow strip. To the east the Vistula runs in wide, braided curves with sandbars and wooded banks. To the west the dense green of Kampinos Forest takes over. The town fills the space between them, drawn out along a main road that carries traffic north from the capital.
From above, the street pattern is mostly suburban: houses on long, narrow plots, side streets running off the main artery like the teeth of a comb, and clusters of newer estates where fields used to be. Drainage ditches and small watercourses cut across the low ground near the river. That gives the plan a slightly irregular rhythm, shaped more by old field boundaries than by any single design.
A Łomianki map poster shows a place defined by its edges. The Vistula and the forest are both protected landscapes, and Kampinos National Park is one of the largest near any European capital. That puts a hard limit on how far the town can spread. The result is a crisp composition: a band of fine streets between the broad sweep of water and a wide field of green.

Kampinos Forest edge
The protected forest presses in from the west as a large continuous field with only a few tracks running through it. It acts as a quiet counterweight to the built-up area.
The northbound corridor
A main road runs lengthwise through the town and links it to Warsaw. Most local streets branch off this spine, so it reads as the backbone of the whole plan.

为什么选Łomianki
一张有意义的地图
People who moved out of Warsaw for more space often end up in Łomianki, and the map captures what they came for: the river on one side, the forest on the other and a home in between. It works well as a housewarming gift or as a reminder of a first family house.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a street name or a moving-in date. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The forest reads especially well in the darker palettes.
