关于地图
Macaúbas Map Poster & Print
Macaúbas is a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, far from the Atlantic coast. The town sits in semi-arid country with hills around it, and on a map it looks like many sertão towns: a regular grid of streets around a central square and church, surrounded by open land.
Beyond the town, roads and dirt tracks branch out toward farms and smaller settlements, often following valleys between the high ground. Seasonal streams leave faint lines across the terrain, and in the dry months many of them carry little water.
It is a place that seldom appears in travel writing, which makes a Macaúbas map poster all the more personal. It shows the town as its residents know it, with a compact centre, the roads out to the countryside and the uplands all around.

Upland setting
Hills and higher ground surround the town, and roads wind between them rather than crossing in straight lines.
Roads to the countryside
Dirt tracks and rural roads spread from the town toward farms and villages, a fine web that fills the outer parts of the map.
