关于地图
Malta Map Poster & Print
Malta is the largest island of the Maltese archipelago, in the central Mediterranean between Sicily and North Africa. It is small but densely built, especially along the northeast coast, where towns merge into one another around a series of deep natural harbours. The rest of the island is a patchwork of villages, fields bordered by stone walls, and dry rocky ground.
The capital, Valletta, occupies a narrow peninsula between the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour. It was laid out by the Knights of St John in the sixteenth century on a regular grid, which stands out clearly on any map. Across the Grand Harbour lie the Three Cities, and inland the walled hilltop town of Mdina, the island's former capital, keeps a tight medieval street plan.
A Malta map poster shows the contrast between the crowded eastern harbours and the quieter west, where the land ends in high cliffs such as those at Dingli. The island is also known for its prehistoric megalithic temples, among the oldest free-standing stone structures in the world. Gozo and Comino lie just off the northwest tip.

为什么选Malta
一张有意义的地图
Malta is home to a proud, close-knit population and a large diaspora in Australia, the United Kingdom and North America, and it is a favourite place to study, work or marry. The harbours and the Valletta grid give it a map full of detail.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a hometown, a year abroad or a wedding day, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper and Sand reflect the island's honey-coloured limestone.
