A principal road crosses the settlement and collects most of the shops and public buildings, giving the map a clear central axis.

关于地图
Maramba Map Poster & Print
Maramba lies in the Tanga region of north-eastern Tanzania, inland from the Indian Ocean coast and not far from the border with Kenya. From above, it appears as a loose settlement with a small centre and houses spreading along roads into the surrounding farmland. The terrain is uneven, with gentle rises and shallow valleys.
This part of Tanga region is agricultural, and the land between settlements is a mosaic of fields, tree cover and scattered homesteads. On a black-and-white map, the roads and footpaths form an irregular net, linking Maramba with nearby villages and with the larger towns towards the coast.
A Maramba map poster keeps things honest and simple. It does not claim grand landmarks; instead, it shows how a rural East African town is arranged, with its main road, local market area and paths leading out to farms. For those with ties to the town, this layout is a recognisable picture of home.

Rural path network
Narrow roads and tracks branch out in many directions, connecting farms and nearby villages and creating a light, irregular pattern across the poster.
Undulating farmland
The land around Maramba rises and falls gently, so roads bend to follow the terrain rather than forming straight lines or a regular grid.
