Masindi Map Poster & Print
Masindi is a district town in Uganda's Western Region, spread across gently rolling farmland well to the east of Lake Albert. Its map is uncomplicated: a central area of straight streets and trading plots, with roads reaching out into cultivated fields and scattered homesteads. The houses thin out toward the edges until the town gives way to open countryside.
The town is best known as a gateway to Murchison Falls National Park, the country's largest protected area, and to the Budongo Forest, a large tropical forest reserve known for its chimpanzees. Travellers heading north toward the Nile often pass through, and the main roads out of town trace that route clearly on the map.
