关于地图
Massy Map Poster & Print
Massy lies in Essonne, south of Paris, on the edge of the plateau above the Bièvre valley. On the map it is a busy suburb crossed in several directions by transport lines: the RER tracks, the high-speed line and the nearby motorways. Between them lie residential neighbourhoods, large post-war housing estates, business parks and green spaces.
The town is one of the main transport hubs in the Île-de-France region. Massy TGV station allows high-speed trains to connect directions without passing through central Paris, and it sits beside Massy-Palaiseau station on the RER. Orly Airport is not far to the east.
A Massy map poster shows how infrastructure can shape a town. The long curves of the railway lines and roads divide the map into sections, each with a different street pattern. The result is a lively, graphic drawing typical of the Paris suburbs.

Mixed neighbourhoods
Small streets of detached houses sit next to large post-war housing blocks and business districts. Each has its own grain, so the map looks like a patchwork.
Green spaces
Parks and open spaces lie between the built-up areas and along the edges of the town. They add calm, pale areas between the busy transport lines.
