Middletown Map Poster & Print
Middletown grew up at a crossroads roughly halfway along an old route through Delaware, which is how it got its name. On a map, that original crossing is still the centre of town. The historic downtown gathers around the intersection of Main Street and Broad Street, with a small grid of older blocks around it.
Around this core, the map changes character. Middletown has been one of the fastest-growing towns in Delaware, and new neighbourhoods of curving streets and cul-de-sacs spread out in every direction, with farmland beyond them. South of town, St. Andrew's School sits on a lake. Its campus was used for filming Dead Poets Society. The town also holds a yearly peach festival that recalls its farming past.
