关于地图
Mingachevir Map Poster & Print
Mingachevir lies in central Azerbaijan, on the Kura River at the point where it was dammed in the 1950s. The dam created the Mingachevir Reservoir, the largest body of water in the country, sometimes called the Azerbaijan Sea. On the map it opens up broad and flat just north of the city.
The city itself was built largely around the dam and hydroelectric station. It follows a planned layout of straight avenues, residential blocks and green strips. The Kura flows out below the dam and bends through the city. Its embankments and bridges form a clear central line.
A Mingachevir map poster shows how engineering shaped both the landscape and the city: a great sheet of water, a concrete barrier and orderly streets downstream. The calm stretches of the Kura have also made the city a centre for rowing and canoeing.

Kura River and dam
The dam marks the boundary between reservoir and river. Below it, the Kura runs through the city between embankments and bridges.
Planned avenues
The city's streets follow a regular mid-century plan, with long avenues and generous blocks that read clearly on a minimalist map.

为什么选Mingachevir
一张有意义的地图
Mingachevir combines water, industry and planning in one frame, and those who grew up there know every part of it: the river promenade, the dam road, the reservoir on the horizon.
You can add a title, subtitle and coordinates line in Azerbaijani or English, and choose one of five styles. Blueprint suits the waterworks, while Classic black & white keeps the plan crisp.
