Uruguay River
The wide river forms the eastern edge of the town, its banks and islands drawn in loose curves that contrast with the straight streets beside them.

关于地图
Monte Caseros Map Poster & Print
Monte Caseros sits in the southeast of Corrientes province, on the western bank of the Uruguay River. Directly across the water lies Bella Unión in Uruguay, and the Brazilian border is close by, which places the town near one of the region's triple frontiers.
From above, the town follows the typical Argentine pattern of a square grid of blocks laid out from a central plaza, pressed against the curving riverbank. The Uruguay River runs broad and slow beside it, with islands and sandbanks breaking its surface, and flat farmland stretches away inland.
A Monte Caseros map poster sets the rigid geometry of the grid against the soft, irregular line of the river. The contrast makes for a satisfying composition, and the water takes up enough of the frame to give the map a calm, open quality. It is a clear picture of a border town defined by its river.

Colonial-style grid
The town is built on a regular pattern of square blocks around a central plaza, a clean, repeating layout that reads well at any print size.
Border setting
The frame reaches towards Uruguay across the water, and the meeting of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil nearby gives the map a quiet geographic significance.
