Classic Conurbano grid
Evenly spaced streets form a dense mesh of small blocks. This is the defining texture of Greater Buenos Aires and the main visual element of the poster.

关于地图
Monte Chingolo Map Poster & Print
Monte Chingolo is a locality in Lanús Partido, part of the continuous urban area that spreads south from the city of Buenos Aires. On the map it is almost pure grid. Square and rectangular blocks are packed with low-rise homes, workshops and small shops, and at intervals avenues cut through them, carrying buses toward the capital and neighbouring Quilmes.
The surrounding areas are just as dense, so the borders between localities cannot be seen from above. Streets run without a break into the rest of Lanús and across into Quilmes Partido. Only the occasional plaza, school ground or neighbourhood sports club interrupts the rhythm of blocks. It is the typical texture of the southern Conurbano, repeated for kilometres.
A Monte Chingolo map poster suits this kind of place well. Without colour, the repeated blocks become a pattern in their own right, a portrait of the Conurbano as it really is: ordinary, orderly and full of daily life. It is a map for people who remember which corner had the bakery and which block led to the club.

Arterial avenues
A few broader avenues cross the grid and carry traffic toward central Lanús, Quilmes and the capital. They give the composition a clear structure.
Plazas and club grounds
Scattered plazas, school yards and neighbourhood club fields show up as small open rectangles. They break up the built-up blocks and give the eye places to rest.

为什么选Monte Chingolo
一张有意义的地图
Families who have lived in the same house for generations, or who left for another city or country, often want to keep the neighbourhood close. A map of these familiar streets says more about home than a photograph of a single facade.
Use your family name, a street or the year you moved in as the title, with a subtitle and a coordinates line beneath. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to match the room it will hang in.
