Dense centre
Near the middle, compounds and lanes sit close together. On the print this area becomes a finely textured block that clearly marks the historic heart of the town.

关于地图
Moriki Map Poster & Print
Moriki is a town in Zamfara State in north-western Nigeria, in the dry savanna belt that stretches toward the Sahel. The land around it is mostly open, flat farmland. Settlements like this one grew up as local market and administrative centres, reached by roads that cross wide, open country.
On a map, Moriki looks dense in the middle and loose at the edges. Close-set compounds and narrow lanes fill the centre, then give way to scattered plots and footpaths heading out into the fields. With no hills or rivers to steer it, the town has grown fairly evenly in all directions.
A Moriki map poster works because of that simplicity. The tight core, the few roads leading in and the empty country around it create a strong, almost graphic image. It shows a savanna town in its setting, without decoration.

Radiating tracks
Roads and paths run out from the centre toward surrounding farms and villages. They form a loose star shape that fades into the open landscape.
Open savanna
Flat farmland surrounds the town on every side. It leaves wide white space on the poster, which frames the settlement and shows how isolated it is.

为什么选Moriki
一张有意义的地图
For people from Moriki, or with family in Zamfara, this map gives a recognisable shape to home. It is a modest, honest image of the town as it sits in its landscape, and it suits a living room or study far from northern Nigeria.
Add a family name, a date or the town's coordinates to the title lines, then pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. There's a free watermarked preview to check the layout before buying the $9 HD files or a printed poster.
